Eastbound Jesus

w/ The Mallett Brothers Band

Doors: 8pm
Show: 9pm

One chilly evening, early in the fall of 2010, Adam Brockway, Dave Wright, Carl Anderson, Luke Anderson and
Zack Infante gathered by a woodstove in a barn on the outskirts of Greenwich, NY. With a snare, a kick, and an
old beat up high hat, Carl began teaching himself how to play the drums while Adam and Zack played along on
guitars, Luke on banjo and Dave on bass. Vocal melodies and harmonies were flowing like the beer from their
cans and within a few hours, the group had written 2 songs front to back and it was obvious, at least to the brand
new quintet, that they had immediately put together a sound that was just as unique as it was traditional.

Week by week, song by song, the band quickly collaborated a full set-list of original music, recorded an album in
a bedroom with two sm-58's and on jan. 27th, 2011 released their debut album Greatest Hits Vol. 1. Eastbound
Jesus continued to grow musically, as well as with members picking up Dylan Robinson on lead guitar, as Zack
Infante took over on lap steel guitar. Writing music and picking up fans throughout the spring the band won the
Saratoga Performing Arts Battle Of The Bands in June of 2011.

Eastbound Jesus continues to grow musically and went into the studio in late November to record their album Holy
Smokes due out in the winter of 2012. The album represents a year as a band and the completely unique and
exciting sound the members have all worked to develop, which promises to be an album for the ages!

The Albany, N.Y.-based Skane writes great, catchy songs with smart, strong lyrics. A natural born storyteller, his

Capital Zen
w/ Sheen, Split Phase

Doors: 8pm
Show: 9pm

Tickets: $7 at Door

Forged in the PCB-laden waters of the Hudson River, Capital Zen’s minds and music have mutated beyond genre
classification. They keep their audience on their feet time and time again with explosively danceable, yet edgy
and addictive grooves – not to mention a keen sense of surprise!

Capital Zen breaches thresholds, from inciting paranoia to the quest for life’s “undo” button. No matter the dire
outlook of Mayan Prophecies or the sugar-coated gumdrop tales of Utopianism, Capital Zen doesn’t try to think
for you - rather, they ask you to look within and question what is real and what is right

So, turn your light on, stop making the same mistakes and let go the stranglehold of a reality TV-induced status
quo…because when you’re hangin’ with CZ, livin’ is easy!

Capital Zen has rocked the Northeast since 2006, playing such venues as Nectar’s, Revolution Hall, Northern
Lights, The Electric Company, The Saranac Brewery, and many more. Festivals such as Camp Bisco, Backwoods
Pondfest, the Big Up, Evolvefest, Solarfest, just to name a few. Crowd control duties have been shared with many
excellent groups, including Rustic Overtones, Beduin Soundclash, Into The Presence (feat. Tim Alexander of
Primus), U-Melt, The Breakfast,  RubbleBucket, Lynch (feat. members of Conehead Buddha and moe.), and
Lucid. Capital Zen has even hosted an Umphrey’s McGee after-party in Boston, MA!

With the recent release of their debut album and new material being brewed at all times, they are continually
looking to spread their music to new audiences. Going to a Capital Zen show is not at all unlike rubbing dryer
sheets on a 3-day-old pair of socks…funky fresh!

Tony Markellis of Trey Anastasio Band Presents:
Street Corner Holler

Doors: 8pm
Show: 9pm

Tickets: $5 at Door

This is the third in a series of shows presented by Tony Markellis of the Trey Anastasio Band. When not
touring with TAB, Markellis, a longtime Saratoga resident, plays with a number of great area musicians who he is
eager to bring to the attention of a new audience. Once a month, he will be featuring a different band at the
Putnam Den.

You could say that Street Corner Holler are traditionalists, but you won’t find an academic bone in their bodies;
they don’t play blues that you can learn from books. Their street-corner sound has been honed to grab the
audience by the throat. The band features
Mark Tolstrup on slide guitar and vocals, Dale Haskell on drums
and vocals and
Tony Markellis on bass.

These guys aren’t fooling around. Street Corner Holler brews up a raw, fearless, righteous mix of swamp boogie,
buzzsaw blues and delta stomp. It’s achingly beautiful and haunting; it’s slash ‘n’ burn, no-holds-barred; it’s music
played with such honesty and abandon that you want to stay up til dawn – drinking, weeping and hollering.

• Stay tuned to see who TM presents at the Putnam Den in upcoming months •

Paranoid Social Club
w/s/g: The Brew

Doors: 8pm
Show: 9pm

Tickets: $10 at Door

Paranoid Social Club is the bastard brainchild of Dave Gutter and Jon Roods of the Rustic Overtones. Hailing
from Portland, ME the band has received international accolades for it’s high energy style. Equally inspired by
punk, soul, psychedelic rock, and the human psyche; PSC is a musical movement like no other. Picture Jimi
Hendrix smashing a keyboard or The Clash backing Bob Dylan at the Newport Folk Festival. The fervor of their
incendiary live show has propelled them to that of cult status.  Paranoid Social Club has managed to create one
of a kind anthem’s using sarcasm and beauty, two things that rarely coincide.

Paranoid’s debut Axis ll, spawned the hit “Wasted” which was featured as the theme for Broken Lizard’s cult
classic film Beerfest, as well as being the soundtrack to every college party in America.

Their follow up double LP Axis lll & l featured the single “Two Girls” and was remixed and released on EMI’s ON
Entertainment record label. “Two Girls” was used in the movie Sex and Death 101, HBO’s series Entourage and
Cathouse and birthed a house remix album produced by club DJ’s ; Invisible Kid, Powder, and Butterface. “Two
Girls” quickly became PSC’s biggest international hit, as it landed them on countless radio stations most
requested and was featured on KROCK’s “What’s Next” Compilation. Other stations soon followed suit from New
York to Dallas to the West Coast.

Their fourth studio album, Axis IV, was released in late May of 2011. The first single, “Count On Me” was added in
regular rotation to WEQX and Citadel’s WCYY before a radio campaign had begun, receiving over 500 spins.
First week sales of Axis IV charted on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart and was #3 on the Music Monitor Network
Charts, behind only Lady Gaga.

They’ve performed with such acts as Stone Temple Pilots, Audioslave, 311, The Roots, 30 Seconds to Mars, Fall
Out Boy, Avenged Sevenfold, Buckcherry, Mike Watt, Coheed and Cambria, Staind, Seether, Crash Kings, Blue
October and Panic at the Disco and proved to be a tough act to follow.  Catch the Club in support of their new
album.

The Brew

Since their inception, the members of The Brew have shared a common vision: transforming their urgent and
unapologetically artistic musings into song. As childhood friends from Boston in their mid-twenties, they have
traveled afar singing of romance and tragedy with their haunting and original voices. True musketeers in their
friendship- Kelly Kane, Chris Plante, David Drouin, and Joe Plante- bring their passionate and full-hearted
performances night after night, with a fierce sense of family. Together they create an anthemic, purely original
sound that marries the majesty of Queen with the nuance of Steely Dan, as their unbridled energy pulls more and
more listeners into their world of songs.

With each release, the music of The Brew gets sharper, stronger and more pure, with an increasing emphasis on
their burning and poignant lyrics. An honest music from a band concerned with real expression.

Their success continues to build, hitting one benchmark after another while remaining humble and unified. They
are quickly grabbing the ears of heavyweights in the music industry and listeners alike as they traverse the world
on a mission.
